In August, trainee fighter pilot Ms Rajabi fled Kabul in fear for her life. After a 'horrifying' journey to get here, she is settling in Adelaide and has even taken her first flight.

"Many of our members have formed close bonds with the families they are sponsoring and are very frustrated at the lack of progress with visa applications, even for very vulnerable women, people who have served with the US and Australian forces, journalists, and ex-police." "We've got people in the mountains and these are people who have served with the Australian forces, who the government doesn't want to think about,' Ms Sellstrom said.
