I found a hidden gem with some of the best food I've had in city

I've been meaning to come here for well over a year and it did not disappoint

BUNCH wine bar on Berry Street has been coming up on my Instagram feed for well over a year now. So last Saturday seemed like the perfect time to try the city centre venue for a date night.

It’s not the first time Charlie has done a kitchen takeover at BUNCH, which previously described him as “serving local, well-sourced produce and specialising in open-fire cooking”. We were lucky enough to get a table at 7pm on a Saturday night to try Charlie’s food and it did not disappoint. The venue felt friendly, laid back and in no way pretentious. And when it came to the food - well we were spoilt for choice. I’m sometimes a bit wary of places that offer small plates as it seems to be the ‘in thing’ right now and not everywhere gets it right.
