Manchester City star Jack Grealish is out to make more memories this season that he can look back on in retirement
Jack Grealish has challenged Manchester City to complete a 'hugely successful' season by claiming a domestic Double.
A boyhood Villa fan, Grealish left the club of his dreams with ambitions of winning trophies and has achieved more than he thought was possible as he played a leading role in City's triumph last season in addition to winning the league in his first season. Despite their Champions League disappointment, the 28-year-old is adamant that they can still have major success.
"I had an unbelievable first season, getting used to everything. I didn't actually play that much but I loved it. It was my first season and it was so new to me. For all the highs that trophies have brought, Grealish has had a difficult season. He has spoken recently about the struggle he has endured wondering if he could be as happy in football again after winning the Treble, and has realised that his time at the top level will run out.
"Obviously I want to score more. Who wouldn't want to score more? We're football players and it's the best thing to do. I think my highest ever tally is eight goals in the Premier League so I think City knew how much I offer in other different areas. Everyone is just so obsessed with stats nowadays.
