A leading Aussie nutritionist has shared the seven things she would never drink, and there are a few surprising beverages on the list. Sally O’Neil, from Sydney, has built up a huge social media following for her no-nonsense approach to nutrition and diet. Now, she has revealed the drinks she always steers clear of.
She explained the “weird additives” in Nestle’s Coffee + Milk aren’t good and neither are the “three and a half teaspoons of sugar per cup that it contains”. Sally shared that “V8 Vegetable Drink” is also a hard no, because of the 88 per cent reconstituted tomato juice that it contains. “Heating fresh fruit juice to reduce its water content, and then adding water to the concentrate in the reconstitution process, depletes the nutritional value of its natural ingredients,” Sally said.
