Within the first week, I realized just how much of a drug caffeine is.

After graduating college in 2020, I decided to stop taking my ADHD medication because I didn't like how it made me feel. But I kept drinking caffeine because I felt that I needed it.

Before our shows, I would even drink an energy drink or two. I realize now that being on stage is like a drug in itself; you don't need caffeine to get you there. But after 10 days, it became very easy to function without coffee. Waking up in the morning was a lot easier for me, and working out with my boyfriend also became easier.
