We went behind the scenes of the magical show at the M&S Bank Arena
The show has delighted families and Disney fans at the M&S Bank Arena where performances will continue until this Sunday, March 24. To mark the occasion, I headed down earlier today to get my skates on and have a go myself.
It was an amazing part of the experience and a relief that I was accompanied by two of the cast members - Freddy and Ashley, who play Eric and Ariel in the show. Both skaters have been honing their craft for years, with Freddy saying he started at the age of 8. I was given an exclusive look at the costumes and props that are used in the magical show.
Unbeknown to me, Mickey Mouse himself was waiting in the wings to meet me, and he skated out to greet us as we stood on the ice. I was able to speak to him and even got a special high five, which I can tick off the bucket list.
