On one level, all it means is Armstrong gets up at 3.30am on a weekday and sits next to Michael Rowland and Lisa Millar on the teal couch. On another, it means he’s swiftly become one of the most visible Indigenous faces on television. Although he jokes he is “by far, the least talented Indigenous person on TV”, Armstrong says he hopes by being a regular presence on TV he can prove to the “decision-makers” that “non-Anglo people can do the job. And there’s plenty out there doing remarkable stuff.”
