With that remark, former Wallabies star Joe Tomane announced his desire to return to the top of the rugby league food chain, after 10 years in rugby union. The 33-year-old has linked up with former Brisbane Broncos champion Karmichael Hunt for the Souths Logan Magpies’ 2024 campaign, through which he hopes to force his way into the side and garner attention from first-grade outfits.
“I still feel like I have a lot to offer, but I guess it’s just whether coaches see that I’m the right piece to their puzzle,” Tomane said.
