Not only can the cocktail up your heart rate and increase feelings of anxiety or depression, but it could lead to a bout of over-drinking. “Coffee can improve the taste of alcohol, and sometimes people may not realize how much they may be consuming, and as a result, they end up drinking more alcohol than they would if they would order a glass of wine,” Dr. Johanna Contreras, a cardiologist at Mount Sinai Hospital,The latest trend is a unique take on the classic espresso martini popularized by TikTok last year.
