The United By Food section contains Ukrainian cuisine
Eurovision has brought a melting pot of cultures to Liverpool - and Ukrainian culture has naturally been front and centre of that.
It is here, under the United By Food stand, that I decided to try out some Ukrainian cuisine. There were a good range of options, from a traditional beetroot soup called Borshch to Lviv Syrnyk, a Chcolate glazed cheesecake.I was in a bit of a rush and the rain was pouring down, so I opted for the Cheburek. This is a Crimean Tatar dish, essentially a pastry containing ground beef, lamb, onion and seasoning.
Inside, there were big chunks of delicious meat which were seasoned well. However, if I went again, I might try something slightly more adventurous.
