There wasn't the usual mad rush!
The new flavour of viral sensation hydration drink Prime from YouTubers KSI and Logan Paul hit the shelves in Sainsbury's for the first time today.
Well, first impressions in Sheffield this morning were that people in Yorkshire don't appear to be overwhelmed by the desire to head out and pick up a bottle of the limited edition Prime. At the Wadsley Bridge Sainsbury's there was a steady trickle of customers picking up a few bottles but none of the chaos seen elsewhere.
This expedition was not sanctioned by our parents who would certainly not have let us stray so far from home on our own with no real idea of where we were heading. One thing that sticks out about that day for me was the three of us picking up a bottle of Powerade from the corner shop to help us on our journey.
In our day there was Powerade, these days the kids have Prime. They get excited by the marketing, the promises, the promotion and the idea of having it, the same as we all have done at some time.
