I've found the perfect girls' holiday – travelling solo with my Rottweiler 🐶 We walk, we relax. I eat food and drink wine and she munches on biscuits and treats.
Snuggled in a quiet corner of a rustic hotel, with a glass of wine after an afternoon exploring the Cotswolds, it was the perfect girls’ break. My companion was my best pal. She is up for finding new places, loves a walk in the countryside, listens to me ramble on and is the perfect partner for a relaxing night away. The only thing she can’t do is hold a conversation. Because she’s my dog.
Our room catered well to both of us: Nespresso machine, robe and bath tub for me; dog bed, water bowl and treats for Brandy. We spent the afternoon mooching around Burford. I took in the shops and planned which bakery to visit the following morning, Brandy trotted around the local recreation ground and trawled the picturesque pavements for any morsels of food.has featured among our trips before.
