It used to be a beautiful art deco building, now it's dark dingy and eerie.
and I instantly noticed how much potential it has but was shocked at how this stunning space had been forgotten about for so long.
It was strangely quiet as I tiptoed through the rooms trying to listen for any sign of life - there was none. Every single room is in disrepair with hundreds of thousands of pounds needed to bring the building - which was once used by Strathclyde Police as a stable block and dog kennel - back to life.
When work started on the completion of the M74 motorway, the police moved out. The garages to the rear are occupied by mechanics and businesses but the offices along Mauchline Street and the tower itself remain vacant.It's attracted the wrong crowd with graffiti plastered along the walls and fly-tipping known to be rife.
