There’s new fodder in Draymond Green’s feud with this Grizzlies guard: old admiration. A clip of Dillion Brooks adds new color to the shade he’s been throwing.
The Golden State Warriors star and notorious Memphis Grizzlies guard have traded barbs for the past week since Brooks made critical comments about the team and Green in an ESPN feature earlier this month.
It seems apparent that those feelings have dissipated in the seven years since. The quote only gives more ammo to Green, who, as you would expect, has been unleashing a storm of rebukes since ESPN’s story was released.March 3: ESPN publishes the profile on Brooks, which includes him torching the Warriors and Green.
"I'm trying to figure out why they like you in Memphis. Or do they like you in Memphis? That's a better question," Green said."I'm not sure your teammates like you. But I can tell you why they like me over . When you contribute in the way I have contributed to four championships, they tend to like you.
"You should give the mic to Draymond, make him talk about me … Make him keep talking about me so I can play better."
