Lately, I've been thinking a lot about investing in leather pants, and Sofia Richie just proved to me that I need them. The model andstepped out in Beverly Hills for a shopping trip at Barneys, toting her shearling-lined Chanel handbag and baring her toned abs in a casual cropped tank. Sofia topped off her look with an ice blue blazer with distressed hems and lucite sunglasses for an extra street style statement.
While I've always thought of leather pants as an evening look — something I'd wear to go out to dinner with a pair of heels — Sofia just made me see them in a whole new light. I love how her high-waisted silhouette brings sophistication to her outfit, but then her sneakers play it down, as if to say,"NBD, it's just a daytime shopping trip." Sofia's pants are structured and flatter her figure, so I'm sure she feels confident when she slips them on.
