They’ve been very understanding of Aimee’s needs in the past, but I could see “Aimee is doing better” easily being misinterpreted as “Aimee doesn’t need her wheelchair anymore.”You should tell your parents the truth about your child’s needs, because they need to know if she’s going to be in their care, and this does not seem like the kind of thing you can or should hide from them indefinitely.
