The heartbroken father of Queensland teenager Charlize Zmuda, who was killed in a shark attack on Monday, has spoken about the moment he heard sirens barrelling towards the beach and knew his 17-year-old daughter had died. Charlize was swimming off Woorim Beach near Rickman Parade on Monday when she was attacked by a shark about 4.45pm, suffering critical injuries to her upper body. Paramedics and the fire service rushed to the scene and desperately tried to save the teenager but she died at the scene. About 200 mourners, including her friends and family, assembled at the beach on Tuesday to pay tribute to the teen.
