'I was a happy girl... then my monster of a father sexually abused me every night'
A teenage girl sexually abused by her 'monster' father has bravely told of her horrendous ordeal to help other survivors. Elizabeth Price said she was attacked by her biological father Phillip Price 'every single night' over a six month period when she lived with him, aged just 11.
"He would sexually assault me at night when he thought I was sleeping but I was awake every time because I was too scared to go to sleep. It happened every single night without fail while I was living with him for just under six months. He would take pictures of me as well after he had stripped me and when he thought I was asleep."
"I didn’t tell anyone for four years because I was scared he would find me and do it all over again," she said. "I literally didn’t want to be here anymore because of what he had done to me." Within an hour, Tracy said she called the police, and Price was arrested a few weeks later following an investigation. Before her ordeal, Elizabeth said she was sociable as a little girl but now struggles to leave her bedroom on some days.
