I was Bournemouth ball boy before becoming a professional boxer – now I’m set for world title at the Vitality Stadium

EXCLUSIVE: Chris Billam-Smith achieving boyhood dream of stepping out at Bournemouth's stadium this weekend

“It’s a dream for me to fight there but then the other dream was always to win a world title at the stadium. So, I get the opportunity to do that on May 27,” Billam-Smith told talkSPORT.

"Boxing at the ground has never been done in any format. Actually, tell a lie, they did used to do amateur shows in the concourse which was really weird,” Billam-Smith added. “I always loved football. Football was always my first sport until I started boxing. Boxing took over when I was about 18 years old,” he said.
