Premier DanielAndrewsMP has issued a fresh warning to Victorians being complacent about coronavirus, threatening to lock down the entire state.

, meaning more than 310,000 residents will only be allowed to leave their homes for four reasons – exercise, food, caregiving and work/school – for the next month.

“We will support you, we will get to you the things you need and part of that is an acknowledgment of the sacrifice, an acknowledgment that those families are on the frontline for all of us in the war against coronavirus. In terms of the rest of Melbourne and Victoria, it is on us as well. “This thing is so wildly infectious. It only takes one person, one person, and you can finish up with entire suburbs locked down.

Mr Andrews said the State Government would consider over the weekend whether more suburbs would go into lockdown.
