Opposition Leader John Pesutto moved to expel her from the party room following that event, citing her association with the organisers of the rally, who he said had links to neo-Nazis.Ms Deeming said Mr Pesutto promised to publicly state that she was not associated with neo-Nazis.

"I feel done over, like they were stringing me along, hoping to find some other way to get rid of me because they don’t like my views on issues like women, and they've already worked out I have had these views for a long, long time and I am committed to defending them.", and Thursday's defamation concerns notice flagging potential legal action.
