'I won't only win, I'll improve my margin': John Barilaro confident of holding Monaro nswelection2019

Nationals leader MP, John Barilaro with nieces Gioia 6 and Milana Pavan,4 and holding daughter Sofia Barilaro 3."I'm feeling confident not only will I retain [Monaro], maybe [I will] even improve that margin," he said, taking a break from greeting voters at Karabar High School.Labor candidate Bryce Wilson, a former school teacher, who has been campaigning since 2016, said he could not predict the result.

"I would be lovely tonight that I can actually claim victory in front of my volunteers," he said, noting he had faced long waits in previous elections to learn the result. Mr Wilson said, "if we win, it'll be a long count".
