Ibiza’s mega-clubs are back like they never left 🥳
Ibiza’s mega-clubs have finally reopened their doors after being forced to close to two years because of Covid.
With people raring to party after a torrid few years, a club spokeswoman said while she ‘couldn’t say for certain’, ‘everything indicates’ there’ll be more customers this year than in 2019. As Ibiza adjusted to Covid, the leisure sector, which employs over 3,000 people directly and indirectly, was the last to fully open up.
They point out that Ibiza and the neighbouring island of Formentera drew 1.9million tourists in 2021, a little more than half pre-pandemic numbers, even though most nightclubs were shut.
