The International Criminal Court won’t pursue a formal probe into alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity in Afghanistan
A 2017 request for a formal investigation by ICC prosecutor Fatou Bensouda outlined possible crimes committed since May 2003, by U.S. forces, the Central Intelligence Agency, the Afghan National Security Forces, the Taliban and the militant Haqqani network.
