Major movie stars have left the red carpet of a movie premiere in London as pay talks fail and actors join writers to strike for the first time in 63 years, halting productions worldwide.
“It came with great sadness that we came to these crossroads. We had no choice. We are the victims here. We stand in solidarity.” The widespread industry shutdown will immediately halt production on movies and television shows worldwide, with A-listers Jennifer Lawrence, Merryl Streep and Ben Stiller showing support.
