Iconic 'Cheers' bar sells for $675K at Dallas auction that raised $5.3M from bidders worldwide
The iconic bar from the hit television series"Cheers" sold to the highest bidder during a television prop-filled auction held in Dallas this weekend.
The items originally belonged to James Comisar, who had collected pieces of TV history during the past three decades in hopes of opening a museum. Unfortunately, it never materialized, according to a news release from the auction house.
