Iain Garnell has unveiled his spectacular plans after buying the property at auction this week
Who better to be tasked with transforming an iconic naval building than an architect who immediately fell in love with the radar station?
Iain, from Leicester, revealed that he randomly came across the former radar station on RightMove and was blown away by the views across the Irish Sea. He plans to turn the building into a new home for himself and has already produced extensive plans. His artist's impressions include wraparound windows to make the most of the stunning uninterrupted views of the coastline while the bedroom looks out across the beach towards the Irish Sea.
Iain's plans are subject to being granted planning permission by Wyre Council. He said: "I'd like to hope that given this will bring back into use an iconic building they'll welcome my plans to give it a new lease of life."
