An "ideal escape" you can fly to for £30 from Liverpool John Lennon Airport boasts beautiful coves and caves where you can dolphin watch. Located in Southern Ireland, Shannon town and the surrounding area has plenty to offer.
You can fly from Liverpool to Shannon at 11.35pm on September 19 and returning on September 23 at 9.05am. At the time or writing, we found flights with Ryanair for £30. If you're a fan of golf, Shannon Golf Club offers professionals and visitors a round of golf in among the fairways and meadow grass. Established in 1966, the course was designed by John D Harris, is a major championship course and has been tested by golfers from around the world.
Near Shannon Town, you can also reach the Cliffs of Moher, Lahinch Beach the Bridges of Ross. Many also fly into Shannon to visit the likes of Galway and Cork City.
