Jarden in Atlas Arteria raid, seeks $543m stake
Harsh lockdowns which caused traffic to disappear across Europe hurt toll road operator Atlas Arteria.The fund manager had Jarden’s equities desk is seeking to buy a 7 per cent stake in Atlas Arteria worth $543 million after market on Tuesday, ahead of a potential bid.
Term sheets sent to fund managers said Jarden was looking to buy the shares to hedge a total return swap for Diamond Infraco 1 Pty Ltd, which is owned by IFM Global Infrastructure Fund.
