There were two games in the Sports Direct Premiership on Tuesday night
Linfield put down an early marker at Windsor Park on Tuesday night as goals from Chris McKee and Joel Cooper sent the Blues back to the top of the Sports Direct Premiership.
McKee bagged his fourth goal in as many games while Cooper headed home a late winner to cap off another man of the match display. The result maintains Linfield's perfect start to the season, while new Reds boss Jim Magilton was left nursing the first setback of his tenure. Cooper teed up McKee for the opener in the 45th minute, but that was cancelled out by Luke Turner's scrappy equaliser 10 minutes from time.
The Reds' celebrations had barely settled when Cooper headed past Nathan Gartside two minutes later to seal a 2-1 win.Ben Kennedy scored four goals including a nine-minute hat-trick, while Paul Heatley, Philip Lowry, Billy Joe Burns and Jimmy Callacher were also on target.Key Events
