OFFICER SHOT | An IMPD officer has been shot during an incident in Fountain Square. The officer's condition is not known at this time.
INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis police officer is being rushed to the hospital after they were shot Sunday night on the city's southeast side, according to police.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Sgt. Shane Foley said the incident happened in the 1600 block of Lexington Avenue. Foley said the officer was being transported to Eskenazi Hospital, their condition is not being released at this time.At this time additional details haven't been released.This is a developing story and will be updated when more information becomes available.
