The 19th-century estate is located on a 1-acre lot close to the downtown area of the city of Florence, Ala.Norbert and Sheryl Putnam were hoping to be helpful when they invited a couple they met at a birthday party in fashion-designer Billy Reid’s shop in Florence, Ala., to visit their home. Wes and Heather Fleming had mentioned they were searching for a house in the area and the Putnams offered them a look at their historic property.
