BRETT Colin – Passed peacefully on 4th August 2023 aged 88 years. Much loved Husband of Jean Brett, Father and Grandfather. He will be much missed by his family and friends. McCARTHY Hannah ‘Joan’ – Hannah passed away peacefully on 5th August 2023. A loving wife to the late Jim and a wonderful, caring mum to Jimmy, Sean & Binnie. A loving grandma and great-grandma. We will all miss her greatly.
WYLDE Victoria Elizabeth – Passed away peacefully on Saturday 29th July 2023 aged 77 years. Reunited with her beloved Husband Pee Wee. A loving Mum of Karen, Neil & Barry, Nan, Funny Nan and Sister. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Watford in talks for Spartak Moscow's NicholsonWatford are in talks over the signing of Shamar Nicholson from Spartak Moscow.The 26-year-old striker is available for transfer from the Russian club. Negotiations have not yet led to an agreement, including whether a move would be a loan or permanent switch.The Jamaican international joined Spartak from Charleroi in 2021 and has a contract until 2026. Nicholson, who is 6’4”, has scored 12 goals in 39 appearances for Spartak Moscow.The Athletic revealed that Nicholson was on Watford’s radar last weekend, following the 0-0 draw with Plymouth. The Championship club held an interest in Sory Kaba, who was on loan at Cardiff from FC Midtjylland last season, but he joined Las Palmas earlier this week.
