Kuo has been operating the shop for eight years and the gun shop, and more than 90-percent of his clients are Mandarin speakers. Kuo also teaches Texas License to Carry class in Mandarin.

I am over 69 years old. Growing up, and often visiting Galveston, a license was not needed to crab. I went to buy my first .22 rifle at the age of 25. I had to show my driver's license and fill out paperwork. Here we are today: I have to have a license to go crabbing, but I don't need a gun license to buy a gun.
