The young Greens candidate said if elected to the outer Melbourne seat at the upcoming by-election, he will push the Andrews Labor government on matters of climate change and housing.
The outer Melbourne seat, which has been Liberal-held since 1988, was made vacant after veteran MP Ryan Smith abruptly announced his resignation.
“If elected I’ll push the Victorian Labor Government to go further and faster on climate change and housing affordability, so that we can protect our precious environment and look after people doing it tough. The seat of Warrandyte overlaps the federal electorates of Deakin and Menzies, held by Liberals on narrow margins of just 0.2 per cent and 0.7 per cent respectively.
