Incumbent member for Blair a ‘Labor member who hasn’t been active’

Liberal Senator James McGrath says the seat of Blair in Queensland is “one to watch” as it has an inactive MP.

Blair, which stretches from Ipswich into Brisbane’s far west, was where One Nation’s Pauline Hanson started her career and has a “high One Nation vote” to this day.

Mr McGrath said the current incumbent Shayne Neumann is a “Labor member who hasn’t been active” and the Coalition has had a resurgence in popularity. “This seat, I think, is one to watch in terms of what happens with Labor’s vote and our vote and One Nation’s vote,” he told Sky News Australia.
