Former high commissioner to India Peter Varghese says the relationship between India and Australia is ripe with potential for growth, as it already stands as the largest relationship with plenty of room for expansion in various areas.

“The characteristic now of the Australia – India relationship is that it is emerging as a genuinely comprehensive partnership

because it’s got geopolitics, it’s got economics, and it’s got people to people connections,” he told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
