The new shop, atExpect the same Chinese, Japanese and Thai food, including sushi. Unlike the first location, Washington Street won't have an all-you-can-eat sushi space.It also will open without the separate menu of what the Tian Fu team calls more authentic Asian dishes such as beef tripe, jellyfish salad, pig kidneys and chitterlings.
The new digs, former home to a Bob Evans, will offer plenty of space, with seating for about 150 people. The size and upscale level of the bistro are advantages in the market for Tian Fu, where her husband chef Meixiang Chen oversees the kitchen, stand out in Asian eateries, Shi said.The couple moved to Indianapolis to open a restaurant after working at an Atlanta, Georgia, restaurant — he cooked and she served.
