Conservative Liberals are threatening to wreak havoc in Victoria after a powerbroker was expelled and a key leadership position was filled at short notice.
“Politics isn’t for everybody all the time,” Pesutto said.
"This would be the perfect opportunity to get a good female candidate into parliament," one senior MP said. Mulholland’s promotion also creates two vacancies in the parliamentary Liberal team – shadow cabinet secretary and opposition whip.
