Greater Western Sydney star Tom Green has teed off at the AFL’s “Victorian bias” in a resurfaced podcast clip.
“That’s where most of the footballing infrastructure has been in terms of AusKick programs, school programs, all this sort of stuff. Then people get picked up every year playing school footy for Victoria. A bid for Green at pick No.10 in hindsight seems a bargain for the Giants given the 22-year-old’s output in his four seasons so far.“I think there was some element of that ,” Green said.
