A two-storey, four-bedroom contemporary house in Melbourne’s south-east with three living areas, a study and a swimming pool.Aimee Tarulli, stylist and founder of Archer Interiors, her husband Frank, a director of Thomas Archer Homes, and their children Leo, 9, and Rosie, 7.“Frank and I found an unliveable house on the best street, demolished it, then built a home that is perfectly tailored to our lifestyle,” says Aimee.
“Don’t feel you can’t have nice furniture because you have kids,” says Aimee. “If you’re clever with fabric and material choices you can enjoy what you want now.”“We save the main dining area for special occasions such as dinner parties,” says Aimee. “Sitting there always feels special.” The dining chairs are by Zuster.“We wanted the kitchen to feel like a beautiful piece of furniture,” says Aimee. “We have a vast butler’s pantry that allows for all the grunt work to be hidden away.
