Kanye West is bringing Sunday Service to Coachella on Easter Sunday.
Billed as “Kanye West’s Sunday Service”, the rapper’s one-off “sunrise” performance will be held at 9am on Sunday, April 21, during Coachella’s second weekend, the festival confirmed.
West’s Sunday Services have featured guest performers including Kid Cudi, DMX and 070 Shake, and been attended by the Kardashian-Jenner family, as well as celebrities including Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Courtney Love and Tyler the Creator. The invitation-only services feature gospel-style versions of West’s songs, with performers dressed head-to-toe in his clothing label, Yeezy, along with a Yeezy-themed lemonade stand selling $300 sneakers.

The dome, which organisers deemed “impossible” to accommodate, was set to feature “hi-tech production and immersive video” and feature West performing in the round, according toOrganisers said the entire Coachella layout — including port-a-loos — would have had to be resigned to fit West’s vision.rapper, with tickets to both Coachella weekends selling out in six hours.
