According to former royal correspondent Gordon Rayner, Prince Charles has developed an unusual food habit that leaves those around him “going hungry” throughout the day

As the heir to the throne, Prince Charles ’ diary is jam-packed with engagements and royal tours, especially in recent months where he has stepped up to help his mother Her Majesty, the Queen.

Writing for the Daily Telegraph, the royal expert claimed that Prince Charles’ busy schedule often means he goes hungry while on royal tours and results in him depending on snacks throughout the day. Although his royal duties may determine his eating habits, that isn’t to say that Prince Charles isn’t a foodie.

Speaking to Press Association at the time, Erminio said: “He was curious, he smiled and I said, 'It's a margarita. I believe the prince said, 'It's my favourite.”
