Templemore Baths will finally reopen to the public in the coming weeks after a £17million regeneration project.
Many of the original features of the former baths have been restored, including the 'major pool' which has become operational once again and the old slipper baths.Inside Ireland's only working Victorian Bath House undergoing an £11million refurbishment The newly built 28,000 square foot extension will also include modern leisure facilities including a 25m six-lane swimming pool with spectator seating, an 80-station gym, spa facilities and changing rooms.Ryan Murphy said: “Templemore Baths is one of the city’s most historically significant buildings, so to see it transformed from a crumbling, derelict shell into a beautifully restored space for the local community and visitors is just fantastic.
