Josie Hoare, who is Watford Swimming Club’s Head of Development and County 8 coach, has been awarded the Swim England Hertfordshire President’s Plate.
Bryan Thompson, Swim England Hertfordshire President for 2022/23, presented Josie with the award at a club training session. Her lifetime contribution to swimming started early when she competed at a high level as a junior swimmer, she even went on to successfully swim the English Channel as part of a relay team in 1999.
