Intel has announced its latest generation of desktop processors. Its 14th Gen models comprise the Core i9-14900K and 14900KF, Core i7-14700K and 14700KF and Core i5-14600K and 14600KF. The Core i9-14900K and 14900KF can reach a peak of 6GHz out of the box.Intel
The new processors are compatible with Intel's LGA1700 platform, adding a third generation with 12th and 13th Gen models already existing for it. The new models are drop-in upgrades, but may require BIOS updates to work on older LGA1700 motherboards., with the E-core count rising by four.
Biden Condemns Horrific Act Of Hate After 6 Year Old Palestinian American Is Stabbed To Death In Illinois The rest of the stack primarily features frequency increases, but all will be backwards compatible with current LGA1700 600 and 700-series chipset motherboards and support both DDR5 and DDR4 memory.Intel has added a new feature called Application Performance Optimzation, which serves to act alongside the existing Thread Director feature to boost performance in games, while Thread Director itself has also been improved.
