Conduct structured and semi-structured requirements elicitation sessions with stakeholders using appropriate techniques to gather clear and complete information. Analyse and document business processes, data flows, rules, and system behaviours to understand current operations and identify potential improvements.
Capture and update requirements in Enterprise Architect according to company standards, including the documentation of Change Proposals where required. Prepare and maintain project artefacts that support traceability, stakeholder communication, and development activities. Maintain accurate notes from engagement sessions and use them to verify and validate requirements with stakeholders and the project team. Collaborate with senior BAs, project managers, and systems engineers/architects to prioritise requirements based on customer value, implementation feasibility, and business impact. Assist in validating built systems by comparing actual behaviour with documented requirements, reporting any discrepancies to the lead BA. Participate in discussions around requirement changes and assist in assessing their impact on business processes or systems. Build trust and maintain open communication with stakeholders through professional and positive interactions. Clearly communicate elicited requirements, proposed solutions, and process changes to both business and technical teams.Perform necessary tests on built systems as part of the company testing efforts to ensure correct functional behaviour.Business Analysis diploma/certification 3-6 years demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst in the functional analysis, design and qualification of large-scale business solutions. Good working experience within the SDLC, from initiation and Requirements management, until the transition into the target operational environment.
