Police are investigating an “outburst of hate” directed at a group Jewish schoolgirls from Melbourne’s Beth Rivkah College on Monday.

Victoria Police is investigating another incident of anti-Semitic abuse after five Jewish schoolgirls were subjected to an"outburst of hate" from two men on Monday.

The Principal of Beth Rivkah Ladies College said it was “ironic” the girls had just finished a psychology exam. “Jewish school students should be able to proudly wear their uniforms on the streets of Melbourne without being subjected to anti-Semitic abuse,” Zionist Federation of Australia President Jeremy Leibler told the Post.
