At 8.35pm on Tuesday, the CityCat Giwunpa ploughed into an unattended boat that was anchored approximately 200 metres downstream of the West End Ferry. The ferry was returning back to the shipyard after the day's shift when it crashed into the stationary boat."The CityCat had finished service for the evening, and no customers were onboard. There were no injuries to the crew," the spokesperson said.The public ferries are run under a Brisbane City Council contract as part of the state government's integrated public transport scheme.
