An investigator has said he would be able to uncover whether Jay Slater's disappearance 'involved a third party' as he offered help to his heartbroken mum.
The 19-year-old, who has not been heard from since Monday , is thought to have phoned his friend Lucy Mae to telling her he was lost in a rural area and that his phone battery was down to just one percent. His phone then later 'pinged' in an open area around half a mile north of the Masca village. Emergency workers, including the Civil Guard, mountain rescue team and fire crews, are continuing in their search of a 30-kilometre area in the Rural de Teno park, which involves steep and 'treacherous' mountains and ravines.
Mark said he has requested 'total access' with 'feet on the ground' to quickly establish if the teenager's disappearance was him alone, or more suspicious and involved others.
